Niederhorn

There is a many reasons for a trip to the Niederhorn: You can look at the jungfrau- massif as a whole, you can escape hectic mass tourism, you can check out Beatenberg, the longest village of Europe and last but not least save quite an amount of money as the train to the top is far more affordable than a ticket for the Jungfraujoch. The cap is at 1950 meters above sea level and has something sacred - according to some esoterics it is said to be a energetic center. However, it's a beautiful location as it offers the eye some of the best of several worlds: The rock power in South, mellow hills in the back, the midland in the northeast, the lakes down in the valley, untouched forests around and sky above... There is ski- lifts in wintertime and lots of paths for hiking excursions in summer. For those preferring to linger a restaurant near the station offers traditional Swiss Food and the same ineffable view from warm inside.
