There is only a few restaurants built with the loving care of the spice india, THE indian restaurant in the region. Indian heritage is hold up by beautifuel wooden interior design and of course delicious cuisine. The cooks were selected after intense testing in India and are masters of their domain. The know how to handle spice, vegetables, meat (yes, there is more than just vegetarian dishes in the tandoori- kitchen) and fire.
There is lots of seats available - in the spring and summer months when the restaurant is frequented mostly by indians also outside in the passenger zone.
There is a variety of cheap but good meals at noon starting with 15 Swiss Frances. There is also another store called "spice asia" nextdoor which also belongs to the warmhearted family enterprise. It is a boutique but also an extension of the 5- year- old restaurant offering some more panasian and rather buffet- style food.

Posted by gandhi, 12 December, 2007I’ve tried a lot of indian restaurants, name it even the ones from Singapore but the Spice India entrees is the best of them all. They may not have a wide selection of items but rest assured that every viand offered is a treat! Being a vegetarian, I am simply amazed on how they make my veggies flavorful.
